Another 3 new PDGA approved discs!
Hello again my disc golfing friends,
It seems like we meet back here every week for another 3-5 approved discs. As a matter of fact, just seven days ago today, I posted this blog about 3 more approved discs. At this point, there have already been 132 new disc golf discs approved by the Professional Disc Golf Association for sanctioned tournament use in 2026 alone! Yes, you read that correctly! The newest disc to be approved by the PDGA is the proud owner of the certification number 26-132 which means the 132nd disc approved in 2026. I feel like I say this in almost every blog post about these approvals, but disc golf is wild. How is a man who is on mission to throw every disc possible supposed to keep up? Anyway, in this blog post, I will give any and all information I know about the newest 3 discs that were approved on September 28th. If you know any more information about these, please feel free to leave it in the comments so other readers can learn as well. Here goes.

Listed in order of PDGA approval, let's first talk about the Thought Space Athletics Machina. As a long-time MMA fan, I got really excited when I saw the name of this disc that has the name as former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and legend of the fight world Lyoto Machida. And then I realized it was not. So that sucks. But the good news is, there is another new approved disc on the market from TSA. Known for their beautiful and intricate artwork, Thought Space has been a mainstay in the disc golf world since their first approved disc, the Mantra, in 2019.
For those of you eager to learn about TSA and aren't very familiar with their history as a brand, I will break that down to the best of my knowledge here. Originally starting as a disc golf apparel brand, TSA jumped into the disc golf scene in 2012. Seven years after their launch, TSA branched out in the disc golf market expanding their beautiful designs from apparel to disc stamps. Working in collaboration with MVP Disc Sports as their manufacturer, (as well as an unnamed local manufactring facility for the Muse, Temple, Alter, and Pneuma) they launched the first Thought Space Athletics branded disc golf mold in 2019. The aforementioned Mantra.
In early 2024, there was a shift in production for TSA as they started working with Discraft as a manufacturer of their molds. They expanded on their line of discs with their first Discraft-manufactured mold, the Expanse, being PDGA approved in January of 2025. Anybody catch what I did there? Four other Discraft-made molds followed the Expanse in their new lineup which was just increased with the brand new Machina. If you weren't keeping track, the Machina now makes 6 TSA molds that are being manufactured by Discraft.
I must be honest at this point and say that I am still unsure if TSA is still having their flagship molds manufactured by MVP with the newer Discraft-made molds being simply an addition to their line-up or if this was a complete split with the older molds now being out of production. The later would be quite unfortunate because that would mean 13 of their first 17 molds are OOP. Let's hope this is not the case but there was certainly a shift in 2025 because this year is also when Mint Discs moved from MVP-manufactured molds to Prodigy Disc-manufactured molds. I am also unsure if this situation was a full split, or simply an addition to their growing mold lineup.
After my brief and mildy informative TSA history lesson, let's finally get to the Machina. Unfortunately, I know very little about this disc besides the fact that it appears to be a fairway driver. I'm not too good at judging stability by parting line but if I had to guess with this one, I would say it is going to be straight-to stable but not super beefy. Maybe something like a more blunt-edged Teebird with less fade. Like I said, don't hold me to my thoughts on the stability of this disc, this is only a guess. We will see in time. If you would like to see me throwing several different Thought Space Athletics discs, check out the playlist below.
Next up is the Tropos from Trash Panda Disc Golf. In case you have been living under a Roc, Trash Panda makes their discs from 100% recycled materials. As the first brand on the disc golf market boasing this impressive and amazing acomplishment, several other brands have followed in their footsteps in creating disc golf discs from mostly recycled materials. With recycled materials ranging from from phone cases to the huge Crocs partnership, Trash Panda is an absolute staple in the disc golf world. Plus, Trash Panda has also sent me a couple discs to feature on the channel in the past, so I will be forever grateful to them for being so kind!
The Tropos is a control (fairway) driver joining Trash Panda's ever-growing list of approved molds now totaling 10 approved molds with one of those, the Canyon, having both a prototype approval as well as a retooled full-production approval. There is currently not much information about the Tropos online but I still wanted to give huge props here to Trash Panda for being the leading company in promoting recycled materiels as well as sustainability within the sport of disc golf. Let's go Trash Panda! If you want to see me throwing several different Trash Panda discs, check out the playlist below.
Lastly, let's talk about the H13 Disc Golf Jaunt. An up-and-coming disc golf company with their first mold being approved in 2024, H13 Disc golf now has 8 molds approved by the PDGA. One of those molds, the Wanderlust, has two approved versions with an updated retool. The new Jaunt joins their already-approved Astray as their second mid-range in their lineup. At this point, I have little information about the Jaunt or the H13 Disc Golf brand and have only thrown 2 of their molds for my Throwing EVERY Disc Possible series. The first of those two can be seen below, with the second scheduled to be published on November 1st.
Their already approve mid-range, the Astray, has the flight numbers 5 | 4 | 0 | 3, so my assumption would be that the Jaunt would appose those flight numbers and be a more straight mid. Maybe something like a Buzzz or Hex, but once again, this is only a guess. The Jaunt definitely appears to have a similar (but more convexed) wing shape to those mids and appears to have a slightlly more domey top than most runs of each. Hopefully in time, I will be able to feature more H13 Disc Golf molds on my channel so I'm gonna shoot my shot here. If you or anyone you know is conected to H13 Disc Golf in any way, please consider contacting me via the contact form here on the BDGC website. Until then, enjoy the video below of me throwing the Wanderlust. I will embed it as the playlist so if you come back to this post in early November, you can see me throwing the Companion as well. Or, if you don't want to wait, my YouTube channel members already have access to every single scheduled episode of Throwing EVERY Disc Possible. :D
In closing, I would like to thank each and every one of you who have read any of these blog posts and those who have supported me in my disc golf adventures throughout the years. The channel is getting extremely close to 10k subscribers and I plan on doing a HUGE giveaway when it does so. So if you are here and see this, please consider sharing my channel with your disc golfing friends to help BDGC hit that 10,000 subscriber number soon. I am extremely honored and excited to even be considering that as a posibility. Each of you are awesome! I am going to start sharing a random BDGC video at the end of each blog post so today, I am going to share the original Simon Says Challenge video which you can now play with your friends for free, here on the BDGC website!
