Hello again my disc golfing friends,

As the sport of disc golf continues to grow, so does the list of discs that are approved for use in tournaments that are sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association. Did you know that there are over 2,000 different disc golf molds that are PDGA approved? 136 of those have been approved this year alone in 2026. As most of you know, I am on a mission to throw as many different disc golf molds as I possibly can in my “Throwing EVERY Disc Possible” series, but I’ll be honest, it is hard to keep up with everything that is hitting the market. Even as a man who works in disc golf and constantly keeps up with what is going on in the approval world, I can’t keep up with the number of discs that are being approved monthly. I can’t begin to imagine how a person new to disc golf feels at this point. My guess is completely overwhelmed. As you know, I try and keep you up-to-date with the new approvals, but I am a few days behind on the most recent certifications. But worry not, I am here to make that right. Here is the list of the 4 most recent certifications from October 19th with a short breakdown with as much as I know about each below.                 First up, let’s talk about the first of these to be approved, the Orion Long Turn from Millennium Golf Discs. I’ll refer to it as Orion LT from now on. Just in case you have been living under a rock or an Innova Discs Roc for the last 31 years, I feel like I must make sure you are well of a fairly well-known fact in the disc golf world. Millennium Golf Discs are manufactured by Innova Discs. I am sure most of you already know that, but there are probably a few of you out there who rarely do disc golf research and you learned that just now. You are welcome. Please subscribe to BDGC on YouTube for my efforts. Haha! Gotta try when I can!

Millennium’s first disc, the Tachyon LF landed on the disc golf market, or should I say flew onto the market, way back in 1995. Since then, over 30 Millennium disc golf molds have been PDGA approved. Currently, my Millennium Golf Discs on BDGC playlist features 27 different molds so if you are looking to learn more about this brand, this playlist would be a great way to see the majority of their molds in flight. Now in 2026, joining 2005's Orion LS (Long Straight) and 2006's Orion LF (Long Fade) in the Millennium line-up, is the the Orion LT, presumably completing the Orion series. A series of 9 speed drivers, the Orion series will now have a straight mold, overstable mold, and an understable mold. As of now, there's not much information online about the Orion LT but with a naming system like the one Millennium has created, it doesn't really leave much to ponder on. Which I think is a great thing for disc golf! If you want to see the Orion LS and Orion LF in flight, check out the two videos below!

In a rather fitting turn of event's the very next disc to be certified/approved by the PDGA is the Innova Discs Hound. As a man who was born in the 80's with my formative years being in the 90's, this is a fun release from Innova. Disney fans and Millennials around the country would agree, that it is rather exciting that Innova Discs now has both The Fox and The Hound. Also, I hope none of you kiddos out there thought that Millennials are fans of Millennium Golf Discs, although that would be fitting in this moment. As a person with two (Basset) Hounds tattooed on my arm, (RIP Damian and Cash) I have a place in my heart for hound dogs, so good on you for pulling my heart strings twice with this one Innova!

The pictures of the Hound online show a slim and beaded midrange, so it looks like the Fox and the Hound could actually be a 1-2 combo in players bags. The profile of this disc, to me, looks like a thinner Caiman so I am guessing we are going to have the understable Fox and the potentially overstable Hound to go together. At this point, there are no flight numbers for the Hound listed online that I can find, so until this disc is released, consider checking out the video if it's possible counterpart, the Fox, below. I probably also need to apologize to anyone under the age of 20 that stumbles upon this section of the blog as you will probably understand about 6% of it. If you want me to shut up so you can just watch some disc golf, check out this playlist where I have thrown 137 different Innova Discs molds. True story.

PDGA Certification Number 26-135, aka the 135th disc to be approved in 2026 is the UltraSled from Discraft, which joins 1981's UltraStar and 2025's UltraLuna. in the Discraft groovy-topped lineup. Discraft also had a 2026 release of the Malita with a similarly grooved technology that was cleverly called the "Mo-Lita", which resembled a Motown record. However this one was never separated as an UltraMalita nor was it approved by the PDGA as such. I'm not sure how Discraft got away with that one, but they sure did.

The Discraft Sled is an approach disc that was approved and released in 2026. The Sled boasts a familiar and ever-growing popular design in disc golf with a puddled-top and an outer ridge much like the Kastaplast Berg, and Berg X, MVP Stasis, Streamline Discs, Range, DGA Blast, and several others. What sets the Sled aside from the others? Not much in my opinion, but I won't be able to say that about the UltraSled. The UltraSled will be the first of it's kind with the grooves (or ridges) leading up to the outer ridge. Just looking at the pictures of this disc online, I can feel the difference in the grip in my mind. I honestly can't wait to see how these feel in the hand! Infinite Discs has the flight numbers for this one listed as 3 | 2 | -1 | 2, and it appears that it was released for the 2026 Worlds in the Jawbreaker Z "Kitchen Sink" Special Blend. I have already thrown the Discraft Sled, and that episode of Throwing EVERY Disc Possible is scheduled to be published on November 18th. Until then, enjoy this playlist of me throwing 93 different Discraft molds.

Last but certainly not least, let's talk about the Dictator from Doomsday Discs. A brand that trumps (eww) many of the top dogs in disc golf in my opinion, Doomsday Discs is setting an unprecedented standard for mold variation in disc golf. From ridiculously beautiful plastics and great flyers like the Chemtrail and Oblivion, to interestingly shaped cult classics like the Oxymoron and Cardiac Arrest, Doomsday Discs literally has it all! I can only assume that this appropriately named Dictator will be another great addition to their lineup.

As their 39th mold to be approved, this Dictator (in the PDGA pictures) boasts a beautiful and sparkly gold plastic with yet another intricate and thoughtfully designed stamp that fits their branding to perfection and it looks to be a fairway driver. As with most of these newer approvals, there's not a ton of information about this mold online, but rest assured, I will definitely be tossing this disc in the future here on BDGC! Until then, check out this playlist that features over 35 different Doomsday Discs! Below are a couple more must-see Doomsday molds that are not approved for tournament use.

In closing, I would like to share a video with you, in addition to an update on one of my previous blog posts. In this blog post from a few months ago, I mentioned a new disc golf brand hitting the market called Disc Golf Avenue. At the time, I had absolutely no information about the brand besides what was listed on the PDGA approval pages for the three new discs they had approved. That has now changed! I later learned that Disc Golf Avenue was the newly rebranded company that was once Sci-Fly Discs. A brand I have proudly worked with and supported in the past, throwing their 3D printed sPUTTnik. With the recent rebrand, Sci-Fly Discs has moved from their 3D printed production to an injection molded disc company called Disc Golf Avenue.

Not only did I learn this info, but earlier this month, I was lucky enough to personally meet Blake from Disc Golf Avenue and get my hands on his three new Disc Golf Avenue molds. The Union, The Alley, and The Arcade. Not only was Blake nice enough to ship me a couple of his first mold, the sPUTTnik, when it was first released under the Sci-Fly Discs brand, when he came to Throwmore Morristown where I work, he handed me off one of each of the new DG Ave molds! How cool is that?! I have already filmed a few videos with these molds that I will be posting as soon as I can get a chance to edit them! Until then, I would like to ask that if you please consider following my friend Blake at Disc Golf Avenue on Instagram and Facebook. Blake is a really cool dude and I would really appreciate you following his journey in this beautiful sport of disc golf! As I always say in closing, if you made it this far, I appreciate you so much. Your support of myself as one of the smaller disc golf content creators does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

My first time throwing the Disc Golf Avenue Union, Alley, and Arcade.

Love,

Baysinger
